Official rules for WPOR’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest 

From Midnight December 12th through 8am December 19th listeners can submit a picture of themselves wearing their ugliest Christmas sweater at WPOR.COM.   The person submitting the entry must be wearing the sweater in the photo.   The sweater must be Christmas or holiday themed.  Other family members and/or friends may also be in the photo.   One entry per person.  Must be 18 or older and from Maine or New Hampshire.  Only one winner per household per 30 days.   After the submission period, photos will be posted online at wpor dot com for listeners to vote for their favorite.  WPOR has the final say of what content is appropriate for the website.  Inappropriate photos will be disqualified.  Any photographs submitted to WPOR become property of WPOR and may be used in any manner we feel appropriate in the future.   The voting round will last from Noon December 19th through 11:59pm December 25th.  Listeners can vote once per day during the voting round.  Voting is limited to one vote per verified email address.  If an entrant receives irregular votes from the same user or users, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, other automated means or other source,  WPOR  reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion.   The top vote getter will receive the Grand Prize:   A 16 gigbyte 4th generation wifi only Apple iPad  valued at $499.  iPad provided by Cold River Records.  In the event of a tie, the tied submissions will be entered into a random drawing to determine a winner.   Top vote getter will be announced Wednesday, December 26th.   Winner will be contacted by phone or email.  Prize will be awarded with 30 days of winner being announced.  For contest rules visit wpor.com.

Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

UPICKEM and Portland Radio Group are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.

All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.

Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
