WPOR 2014 Megaticket Facebook Contest - Official Rules

Here are the official rules for WPOR’s Facebook Mega Ticket Giveaway.  You must be a member of Facebook and will need to register online at WPOR.com or by visiting the Megatix tab on the WPOR Facebook page between 9am February 14th and 11:59pm  February 23rd. You must also agree to “like” WPOR on Facebook by clicking on the “like” link on the contest registration page. There is a limit of one entry per person per day, unless you get another person to enter the contest using the referral link presented on the page after entering. You will receive one extra chance to win for every one person who also enters the contest using your referral link. There will be a total of 2 Mega Ticket prizes awarded, which includes a pair of tickets for the same seats to three concerts at Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor. Including: Brad Paisley June 15th, Lady Antebellum August 30^th, and Jason Aldean August 31^st. Seat location at the discretion of WPOR.  Prize  value is  $406.00.  There will be no substitution for the prize in cash, merchandise, or credit equivalents. The prize is not transferable and will only be awarded to the winner.  Two random winners will be drawn by Noon on Monday, February 24th.  The winner will be notified via phone and email by Noon on Monday, February 24th. The phone number and email used to notify each winner will be from the contest submission form. Winner must be a Maine or New Hampshire resident, 18 years or older and present legal identification at WPOR, 420 Western Avenue, South Portland, by Monday, March 24th or it will be forfeited. Unclaimed prize will not be awarded. WPOR is solely responsible for the execution and implementation of this contest.  WPOR nor any of its vendors utilized in the implementation, execution, or fulfillment of this contest are responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God. Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Automated entry of any kind is not allowed. WPOR contests are open to all eligible Maine and New Hampshire residents, 18 or older, who have not won anything on WPOR in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WPOR, Portland Radio, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WPOR main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

Note: 18 is the default age.  You can allow younger participants but it must be stated.  If an alcohol sponsor is involved, then age must be changed to 21 or older.
